Sailing With Selkie : Cruising the San Juan Islands
May 14, 2021
Casting off on Friday with the wind at WNW 5 knots. We will be heading into WNW 10-20 knots as we sail towards Lopez and San Juan Island, according to our phone app. Tonight it is to become west winds 10 knots with 2-4 foot waves. It sounds like perfect sailing weather. but as any sailor knows the conditions can change.
As we leave, the skies are clear and bright. I gather up my sunscreen and sunglasses, ready to sail.
Richard has checked the engine and fuel and discovered a small drip in one valve where the water and fuel meet. He might have to rehaul that when we get back to dock.
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
